These terms govern your access to and use of this website. Please read section 3 (technical data is not a contractual offer) and section 8 (disclaimers and limitation of liability) with particular care.
Effective: 19 October 2026 · Last updated: 19 October 2026
1. Scope and acceptance
These terms of use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.wx-seastar.com (the "Site"), operated by Wuxi Seastar Lighting Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the Site you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site. These Terms together with our Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between us regarding your use of the Site.
2. Content and purpose
The Site presents our products, manufacturing capabilities and company information, and is intended for business customers and professional buyers. Its content is provided for information only and does not constitute an offer to sell any product.
3. Technical data is not a contractual offer (important)
- Photometric and electrical parameters shown on the Site (efficacy, CCT, CRI, wattage, beam angle), dimensions, IP ratings, certification information, capacity and lead times are general reference information. They may differ from the products actually delivered due to product revision, batch variation, customisation or changes in applicable standards.
- Such content constitutes an invitation to treat and not an offer, and gives rise to no express or implied warranty.
- Specific parameters and commercial terms are governed exclusively by the signed contract, the order confirmation, or the formal datasheet and test reports we issue.
- Any price or stock indication on the Site is for reference only, is not a quotation, and does not bind us; a formal quotation prevails.
- Please confirm product selection, installation environment and compliance for your target market (including certification requirements) with us in writing before ordering. Differences arising from the absence of such confirmation do not constitute a breach by us.
4. Certificates and test information
Certificate images and test conclusions shown on the Site reflect the status at the time of issue. Validity periods, covered models and scope are governed by the original certificates and the issuing authority's public records. We may update content when certificates are renewed, extended or expire, without individual notice.
5. Intellectual property
Text, images, video, page design, trade marks and logos on the Site are owned by us or the respective rights holders. They may not be copied, republished, mirrored, systematically scraped or used commercially without our written permission; permitted quotations must attribute the source and retain the original marks. Open-source fonts used on the Site (Inter, JetBrains Mono) are used under their respective SIL Open Font License 1.1.
6. Information you submit
Information you submit through the forms must be true and accurate, must not infringe the rights of others and must not be unlawful. By submitting it you authorise us to use it to respond to your enquiry, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Prohibited uses
When using the Site you must not:
- use it for any unlawful purpose, or solicit others to perform or participate in unlawful acts;
- breach any law, statute, rule, regulation or local ordinance of the People's Republic of China or of your own jurisdiction;
- access, interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers or any connected network without authorisation (including scanning, penetration testing or denial-of-service attacks);

- collect or track another person's personal information without their consent;

- interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Site, related systems or networks.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access in the event of any such breach.
8. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party sites or services (for example map services or our group website). Their content and privacy practices are the responsibility of that third party, and we assume no obligation to review or endorse them.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The Site is provided "as is". We use reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, nor that results obtained through it will be accurate or reliable (the accuracy of product technical data is addressed in section 3).
- You understand and agree that your use of, or inability to use, the Site is at your own risk.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or the cost of substitute services or products, whether the claim is based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for loss caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, liability for death or personal injury, and any other liability that law expressly prohibits us from excluding.
- If a jurisdiction does not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, or the limitation of certain types of damage, our liability in that jurisdiction is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- If any part of this section conflicts with applicable law, the law prevails.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless against any claim, action, loss or reasonable cost (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, or from content you submit that infringes a third party's rights. This section does not apply to loss caused by our own wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
11. Product use and safety
Products must be installed, commissioned and maintained by suitably qualified personnel in accordance with the accompanying instructions and applicable standards. The user bears the consequences of installation or use that is not in accordance with the instructions, unauthorised modification, or use outside the specified range; our liability under applicable law is not affected.
12. Termination and access restrictions
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, restrict, suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Site, including where you breach these Terms. Provisions which by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability, indemnification, severability and governing law — shall continue in effect.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Updates will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date revised. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. That provision shall be limited or deleted to the minimum extent necessary so that its intent is given the greatest possible effect.
15. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written contract signed by both parties, constitute the entire agreement between us regarding your use of the Site, and supersede any prior oral or written understanding on the same subject. Our failure or delay in exercising any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation; failing that, they shall be submitted to the competent people's court at our place of domicile.
