Wuxi Seastar Lighting Co., Ltd. is part of Seastar Group (founded in Shenzhen in 1998, stock code 002137) — the Group listed on the A-share market in 2007 and is the first listed EMS (electronics manufacturing services) company in China. The Group has multiple subsidiaries and 700+ employees across Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Wuxi, and in Malaysia. Located in Xinwu District, Wuxi, the company covers a site area of 32,000 square metres and is a National High-Tech Enterprise.

The company integrates R&D, manufacturing, sales and service across residential lighting, travel lighting, intelligent control and EMS. With strong R&D and vertical integration capabilities, it aims to build a first-class IoT intelligent manufacturing facility in the LED industry.

Seastar Group (Shenzhen)

The Seastar Group was founded in 1998, with its headquarters located in Longgang District, Shenzhen. It encompasses over 10 subsidiaries and has thousands of employees, spanning many core international and domestic cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Wuxi, and locations in Malaysia. The company successfully went public on the A-share market in 2007, becoming the first EMS (Electronic Product Manufacturing Service) listed company in China under the stock code 002137.

Shenzhen Seastar Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Seastar Group, is headquartered in Shenzhen. It also has a subsidiary in Wuxi named Wuxi Seastar Lighting Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Wuxi Seastar).

Wuxi Base

Wuxi Seastar, a subsidiary of Seastar Group, is strategically located in Wuxi, Jiangsu. Spanning an area of 32,000 square meters, with a workforce of over 700 employees.

As a national high-tech enterprise, we specialize in R&D, production, sales, and service of a diverse range of products, including residential lighting, travel lighting, intelligent control, and EMS. We've adopted world-class manufacturing technologies and high-precision equipment, boasting professional R&D and vertical integration capabilities. Our goal is to build a top-tier IoT intelligent manufacturing factory in the LED industry.

Malaysia

The Malaysia Seastar was established in 2020 to enable Sea Star to serve our customers more conveniently and efficiently. It is situated in the heart of Iskandar, Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. This strategic location allows us to reduce the delivery time to approximately 2–3 months from the commencement of a new project. It also optimizes logistics and ensures an uninterrupted material supply. Currently, the factory has been operating smoothly and has successfully reached mass production stage, with a workforce of over 80 employees. In October 2023, the factory relocated to a new 10,000-square-meter building.

Sea Star was established and operated.

2004

Wuxi Sea Star Electronics Co.,Ltd was established.

2006

Accredited with ISO9001 and ISO14001.

2007

Sea Star IPO on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in June (stock code: 002137); kicked off ballast driver development with Philips and accredited with TS16949.

2010

Sea Star entered LED lighting industry.

2012

Accredited as a national high-tech enterprise; entered the North American market.

2013

Shenzhen Sea Star Lighting Co., Ltd was officially established.

2014

E-series launched.

2015

Sea Star broadened its business into digital marketing and SaaS services, and changed its name to the Mindata Group.

2016

Sea Star lighting was renamed Shenzhen Sea Star Technology Co., Ltd and listed on the new third board in the same year, referred to as Sea Star, stock code 839575; Wafer launched.

2016

Shenzhen Sea Star Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd, a subsidiary company, was established, which is committed to the research and innovation of the Internet of things in the artificial intelligent home

2017

Wuxi Seastar Lighting Co.,Ltd, a subsidiary company, was established to provide one-stop integrated service for intelligent lighting technology.

2018

Shenzhen Seastar Lighting Co.,Ltd, a subsidiary company, was established to open up overseas market space for intelligent commercial lighting business.

2019

Wuxi Seastar Lighting Co., Ltd. exported 10 million LED downlights to North America and shipped first from Malaysia.

2021

Setting up Seastar's own factory in Malaysia, in Iskandar, Johor Bahru, with a workforce of over 80; set up injection workshop in Wuxi.

2022

Wuxi Seastar Lighting Co., Ltd. moved to new factory, 1.5 times bigger than before; set up automotive electronics division in Wuxi.

2023

Malaysia site expanded to 10,000 m²; a Class 100,000 clean workshop was set up in Wuxi.

2024

Set up stamping workshop in Wuxi.

2025

Set up spinning workshop in Wuxi.
